After breakfast, we begin our sightseeing tour of the historic city of New Delhi. We start from the 11th century Qutab Minar moving along to the Lotus temple, India Gate , the Rastrapati Bhavan or the President’s House , Red fort,Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Mahatama Gandhi Memorial , Humayun's Tomb,Teen Murti and Indira Gandhi memorial. We also visit Laxmi Narayan temple popularly known as Birla Temple. Night stay in Delhi.
Early morning, we leave the hotel for the railway station where we board the superfast air conditioned train to Agra. Breakfast in the train and reach Agra in approx. 02 hours. After freshing up,we began our tour of Agra begining with the Agra fort - the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort build by Emperor Akbar in 1566.Here we witness the grandeur of the Mughals which is evident in their beautiful architecture namely the Diwan-I-Am , The Diwan-I-Khas , the Sheesh Mahal etc. Then after spending an hour there, we move to our next stop- the beautiful Taj Mahal. One of the seven wonders of the modern world and an epitome of undying love, it is sheer magic in poetry. Early morning drive to Bharatpur. Wedged between the twin cities of Agra and Jaipur in the north-west,Bharatpur is famous for Keoladeo Ghana bird sanctuary and is home to an amazing range of flora and fauna. Enroute, visit Fatehpur Sikri. Made totaly of red sandstone, Fatehpur Sikri was the capital of the Mughal emperor Akbar who built it in 1569. -a perfectly preserved red sandstone "ghost town" which was the estranged capital of mughal emperor Akbar, built in 1569 and deserted when its water supply failed.
After an early breakfast, we begin our bird watching tour of the Keoladeo Ghana National Park where a cacophony of sounds will greet you . Late afternoon we drive to the Ranthambhore National Park. A wildlife sanctuary, Ranthambore is famous for its Tigers and is considered to be the best place in the world to photograph the tiger in its natural habitat. Reach Ranthambhore and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Ranthambhore.
After breakfast and an early morning jungle safari,we begin our drive to the pink city Jaipur.Named after Jai Singh, the former Maharaja of Jaipur, the city is famous for its forts and palaces which recall the splendours of the rajas and the maharajas.
